A Day at the Miniature Golf Course
with Carolyn and Freya.
In November of 2003, Freya's grandpa sent her a set of real golf clubs
for three to five year olds. These are real golf clubs, weighted, only they are small.
We decided to go out to the green and try them out. Carolyn and Freya are four
years old at this time so they fitted right in to the ideas of the makers of these golf clubs. They came in a
black canvas bag, with a furry yellow sock over the biggest club. Freya and Carolyn chose the smallest clubs for themselves.
At the counter where we paid to go in to this real fairy land of streams and
lakes, small houses and boats, a castle and a fountain, and let's see what else, a design of tunnels on the putting greens;
we were given five golf balls for five people. The balls were red, yellow,
orange, green and blue.
Here is a picture of Freya lining up four of the balls, with Carolyn watching.
